some of the food will get to the baby if she is only purging during the night the only food that will be coming up is the food that she ate just before the purge. but I do hope for the baby's sake she seeks medical advice very soon. or she could do some damage to the baby

Hi, yes this is going to hurt her and the baby. You should talk to her and get her to talk to her husband. Her husband needs to know. If she keeps going like this is going to do great harm or even miscarry this baby. She needs help!! If you are a true friend you will get her some help. If she is doing this because she doesn't want the baby there are tons of people out there that will adopt a sweet baby. Nutritionaly speaking, the baby is not getting the nutrients that it needs and now is an very important time in growth.

It's people like that who make me sick to MY stomach. You NEED to tell her husband! Tell her that you will give her one week to tell him and if she doesn't you will. She is hurting her baby and herself. Here I am trying and trying to get pregnant and then there are people like her who don't even care that they are hurting their baby. If she doesn't want her baby that much tell her that I would love to adopt it because if she isn't taking care of her baby when it's in her own body, do you really think she'll take care of it when it's outside her body? You need to let her know that she is being an idiot!

Yes... it will affect her baby. My aunt did the same thing and at 6 months pregnant, she went into labor and her baby girl was stillborn (came out dead).

i suggest that if she won't get help then you should tell her husband because he has the right to know she is endangering his baby. now chances are if you do that she will be very angry with you, but if it saves both their lives is that not worth it?
