It was a dance song that was played on a dance music radio station a long time ago, sometime between 2000 - 2004, I cant remember exactly when or if the song was new at the time. All I can remember is backup singing "da da da da de da" over and over. I cant remember who sings the song or what its called. It is driving me insane! I've tried lyric searches on every search engine I know of and nothing useful ever comes up.

Is it a really awful song that says "she's homeless...da da da de da da, she's homeless"? if that's the case then the song is "She's homeless" but that song is way old, maybe mid 90's i think.

Try Toms Dinner by Suzanne Vega. If the part you remember is a part in Fall Out Boys "Centuries" then that is the song you're looking for, as I have for some time myself lol!

The song is called "Gypsy woman" by Crystal Waters. She has been gone for some time now. She had another catchy song called 100% pure love.
