...sometimes its best to have "spares". I'm guessing you're 17? The best way, is not to worry about it. Perhaps you're ignoring the advances of the wrong guys. Geeks and nerds are very loyal, and if you stay with them long enough they earn really good salaries when they get their engineering degree.
Some of that actually grow out of that goofy geeky/nerdy appearance too, especially if you help dress them!

Finding the 'right' match is a bit of a challenge. Don't feel bad, it's not you. The main thing is never to settle for just anyone for the sake of having a 'boyfriend'. You want someone who is really gonna love you, and that takes a lot of searching. I would rather be alone than with the wrong guy. I am single too and I really tried. So many people are just so into themselves lately, it's really hard. In the meantime, I replace that with things I like to do and remain independent and enjoy life with friends and family. I don't have to have a boyfriend to enjoy going out and having fun. Hang in there and focus on things you enjoy. Don't let it get you down. But to answer your question, I think the only way really to find someone is online, but be prepared for meeting alot of duds. It takes time and work.
