I am looking for anyone met, dated and got engaed in the shortest amount of time. Why did it move so quickly?

My husband and I started dating on January 11, 2001. We got engaged on February 14, 2001 and we were married on April 28, 2001. So, all total, we were together for four months before we got married. We just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary in April. I guess the reason things moved so fast is because of how hard we fell for each other. He is the only man I have ever loved!!!

We dated for about a year before we got engaged. Then we were engaged for about 3 years and we have been married 14 years.

We dated about 5 weeks before getting engaged moved in together 3 weeks after that and got married 6 months later. Because we knew we wanted to be together and are happier than we have ever been.

We got engaged after 15 months. When we get married, we will have been engaged 2 years. The only reason I'm holding off on the wedding is, I want my October wedding, and my brother is going to be in Iraq until Sept. or Oct. of this year (so we will get married in '07)

Moved in together after 5 months.

I date my husband for 3 months and got married in 2 months. It moved quickly because my husband and I were friends previously for 3 years and so that whole "getting to know you" stage was wiped out.

well we actually met on the phone in August of 90. we were both living in different states and I worked for a phone co. He called in we talked I took his number home and called him. We met for the first time in Oct. of 90 and the 2nd day we met he asked me to marry him and I said yes. We were married in Jan. of 1991 and still together blessed and happy Praise God!!!
