I love the new straight leg jeans! But if you are not comfortable with the tighter around the calf fit, boot cut is always a classic that will flatter every body type. So try both pairs on and whichever you feel flatters your body the best, go for it!
Go to Gap because they have some really great jeans and I'm not sure how old you are and they have clothes for pretty much every age.

Depends on the look you want, but boot cut is pretty versatile. It works with, well, boots or almost any type of heeled shoe. Straight leg pants or jeans work well with flats or low-top sneakers. The Gap has some in-between styles as well as the ones you mentioned, if you need a comparison.

Straight leg jeans are the new flared jeans. They are everywhere! If you look at all the couture designer websites you'll for sure see a pair of straight leg jeans. Straight leg jeans are especially good if you have shorter legs because they make it look like as if they are elongated.

If you're thin, go for straight leg but if you have shapes and curves, go for boot cut.

boot cuts are nicer. straight legs look good with flats....but if your planning on wearing flats get skinny jeans.
