Its like 20 bucks for a dvd here...sometimes 10..and thats new releases!

20 bucks is pretty standard. A little more than that actually, like 25. I live in upstate NY, so the availability is less than in a major city. Maybe that attributes to the extra expense.

Oh, it's very expensive... about $29.90 (VCD) or $39.90 (DVD) for a set of 13 episodes. Full sets can cost up to $200 depending on how long the series is. I used to consider buying until I discovered Bittorent.

Wow that's cheap!!! I'm from Canada and it's more expensive... Japanese Single volume DVD's cost about 35.99 - 50.00 cdn. And in my province it is 14% tax. So If I want to buy a whole series... OUCH!!!
Once the whole series comes out in a box set it is usually over $100.

the internet are made for this reason
if you have broadband connection visit one of those anime site such as national-anime.com and pay a 5-10 dollar monthly suscription you can download all the anime you want.
now that's serious amout of saving
if you want free try Bittorrent though it's pretty slow due to inexperience users.

Depending on the title $24.99 to $39.99. Unfortunately with Suncoast closed in my town, the only place is Best Buy.
I purchase mine from The Right Stuf International!

its pretty expensive here in Irvine about 25ish and mangas are 11ish
that's why I go to bookstores to read Manga and youtube.com to watch anime that they DO have but they're in Japanese w/subtitles and im used to it now i actually don't really like the English versions sounds sooooooooo fake
though youtube.com sometimes don't have the episodes or the whole anime

Anime boxsets in the UK are a total rip off but then everything here is lol.
dl is the only way for me.
