Neither detail has been completely confirmed, but here's what Nintendo has gone on the record to say so far...
1. The Wii will be released before Thanksgiving to beat the beginning of the Christmas shopping season.
2. The Wii will cost no more than $250, and will possibly be less.
Most journalists believe that it will retail for $199 and be released in early to mid November.
Later this month Nintendo will be giving a presentation at a European game conference entitled "Wii Keep Our Promise". It's more than likely they will reveal the release date and price then. Keep your fingers crossed.

No official date has been announced, but most say in November just before the release of the ps3. The price will be between 225 and 250 dollars. I myself am waiting for the ps3 to come out, i am willing to pay the extra money for a system that is much better than the Wii is. The Wii's game line-up is all kid games and the graphics are not all that good. The Wii is basically the game cube with a new controller if you ask me. The ps3 will be a better system, with better games and better graphics. I'm more than willing to pay the price for the ps3 because it does so much more than just play games, it's a media center that plays on line and plays video and pictures as well.

It will be in October-ish and should be about $250. The games will be lower priced, but the controller is weird (you wave it).
For Nintendo fans it will be fun for awhile I think, but will probably take a backseat to the other two systems due to the younger age group that Nintendo goes after.
PS3 is going to be about $1000 to get into with the system weighing in at a hefty $600, plus extra controllers, etc - plus $80 game so I hear.
Give me my X360 any day!!!!

October 2 and it's 250. I tought it was going to come out in november bur according to ign they siad that they did research. Also other sites have the same thing so I don't think it would come in november with the ps3cuz it would be messed up you know. It's a big competition out there between them so it's going to come out on oct 2 the same day age of empires3 the warchiefs comes out. Also ps3 is gonna be released in nov 17 and it's going to cost 600 and another one of 500.

It coming in November...and will cost around 250 dollars US... it will be the cheapest of the three systems coming out.
