Some guys think they are gross...some aren't going to care. Since they aren't generally going to be seen, any guy who wouldn't date you due to stretch marks is too shallow to waste your time on anyway.

No, stretch marks aren't pretty...but they aren't what makes a person who they are inside (although the event that gave you the stretch marks did contribute). A tummy tuck leaves a very noticable scar of its own...don't go that route unless you have a lot of flab/extra skin that won't tone up...that's too serious of a procedure to do just to hide stretch marks from guys...

My best friend has HUGE ones...even after her tummy tuck (she's 5'1" and had a 10 lb baby 16 yrs ago) but she's never had a problem as far as dating guys...they like her for who she is, nobody ran when they saw her stretch marks...

Stretch marks are only gross to insecure men. A real man understands what happens to a woman's body during pregnancy. Little boys might say differently, but trust me if he finally grows up, he'll think differently.
You sound a little young yourself. If it's that big of an issue for you, by all means have your tummy tuck, but if the man who loves you doesn't mind it's no big deal.

i had my first baby almost 7 mos ago, i have TONS of stretch marks even up and down the bag back of my legs. my husband thinks that i'm gorgeous than ever because i am not only his wife but the mother of his child. i went from a size 3 to a size 7. tummy tucks wont make you stretch marks disappear, nothing does. not even medicines with retin-a. only time will fade it. but its a very common thing that happens to every woman and man too..the strtchmarks not the pregnancy of corse. but if a guy doesnt like you for that reason he is waaaay to shallow and superficial.

Guys who are inexperienced with women might think it's gross but those of us who have been on the planet for a while (37 years in this case) accept stretch marks in much the same way that my Sweetheart accepts the fact that I have a bit of a tummy instead of six pack abs.

No i don't think its gross .. its natural .. if a man loves his wife or girlfriend .. should not bother about stretch marks ..to help reduce stretch marks use pure virgin olive oil .. you can get that from pharmacy or drug shops

unfortunately, there are many things in life we as women must endure and stretch marks are one of them. i would try to diminish them and get back into shape and they will be less noticeable. or you can try body paint otherwise i would also try to find a less superficial guy. there is a lot of things that we as women put up with like small weenies, male baldness, being broke etcccc.. need i go on. GET A GRIP

I've never had kids, but I'd say it depends on the guy! Some might think so, but I'd say they need to realize you might not look exactly as you did pre-babies! If you are extremely insecure, as you claim, then it's your decision. Some women are proud of them, and some loathe them. Which type are you?

No feather....not gross. Badges of honor. If you want a tummy tuck for you....go for it...but research your Dr. well. You are beautiful....don't worry about it!

You have to forgive some of these answers, people really try to be noble and supportive. Life isn't fair. There are varying degrees of stretch marks but in the eyes of man, yuck
