At the top of your browser, where the Back button is, right click on an empty area and select "Address Bar"

You may have lost it by accident. What version of IE and Windows are you using? You can either right-click on what's left of your tool bars and select "address bar" from the menu that pops up or you can try to drag and drop. Slowly move your mouse from the top of your page down until it turns into a two-pointed vertical arrow. When it does that, click and hold your left mouse button, and continue to drag down until the address bar appears.
