I must have typed over twenty great pages today. Just before I went to save them I got an error messge stating that an error occurred and the program would be shut down and any unsaved info would be lost! I tried to save it before I clicked okay. but no response. I tried Norton Goback but that didn't work. I was typing with Microsoft Works Word Processor. I was so proud of what I wrote and put a lot of emotion in it. I just don't have it in me to do that again. Now all I can do is sit here and cry. It is so hard to find time to work on this as it is and now I have to start the whole chapter over. Please help, if you can.

It may be possible if you have autosave/autorecover enabled on Microsoft Word.

In Word, go to Tools, Options, Save and see if Autorecover is turned on. If it is, go to Tools, Options, File Locations, and Write down the location of your autorecover folder.

Browse to that folder and look for a document or temp file created around the time you exited the lost document.
