Not in its present form, because Hip-Hop is the latest form of a music genre that is always in flux, always changing with the times. What we call 'hip hop' today will be 'golden oldies' by 2026. But rest assured there will be something similar to fill the niche by then.

It is 20 years down the road for me, and hip hop is still around. It may not be exactly what you consider to be hip hop but it will be what the kids of that time think it is.

it will most likely still be around, but either in a completly different way, or not in a COOL way. I doubt it will be as "big."

The way this crazy world is right now? I wouldn't be surprised if the next generation thought "classical" music was cool.
It's whatever the fad is...that's what ppl listen to, and then get to like.
