I have T1 internet. I have two computers each with it's own ethernet adapter. The internet is tempermental on both computers. Sometimes it works great, sometimes it doesn't work at all, and sometimes it works but is extremely slow. Does anyone know how to fix this. I've talked to the internet company but they have been no help. They've had me turn of the firewall, plug it into a wall outlet instead of an adapter, and try new ethernet adapters, no luck thusfar.

The computers are not connected together. We have a seperate ethernet adapter for each computer. The ethernet adapter has a cable that connects to the computer and then the power cord.

You need to give a lot more information about your hardware to try to understand this question. I doubt that you have a true T1 going into your home or two computers without a lot of other hardware such as routers.

First, I am sorry someone asked you to pay for T1 service if you are a home user. Are you a Home User?

Where are you?

I am a C/N Guru! I humbly apologize! I do not boldly proclaim this.

If you give me very specific details and information on what your problem is I can help you solve it.

There are many who tell you this is true. I can provide you with references if you need them.

Respectfully.

Best Wishes and have fun but be careful.
