The most soothing music I have ever heard? The most soothing music I have ever heard that is the cure for all is: Holding a baby in your arms, putting him/her on your chest as you pat his/her back and as you rock in the rocking chair she/he gently falls asleep. You look into their face and you see the image of beauty. You see their little hands clutched and they have this smile on their face. You can feel their little heart beat and this small sigh as they breathe in and out. No music is more beautiful then the music of children.

Next to Braham's Lullabye, John Denver's music. However I am old to begin with. There is a resonnance in his voice that just seems to soothe me. From what I've read other people feel the same way, especially music he recorded after he got less popular.

My mom singing "Puff the Magic Dragon" at bedtime. She would bring her guitar in my room and sit on the edge of my bed and sing to me. She sang other songs, John Denver and stuff, but that was my favorite and definitely the most soothing.
