If you aren't making much more than minimum wage anyway...why not quit. You can replace that job easily, I'm sure. On the other hand, you can learn to be little effected by what goes on outside of you. You need to distance yourself from the people around you who are nasty to you, and think about the term "to take offense". It describes the act of "taking on" an offense that you perceive that somebody meant toward you. But you do not have to "take it". You can refuse to be hurt by a spiteful remark or a rude response. Decide that you do not want to "take offense". The choice is yours.

It really depends on what you really are you in a situation to quit and live comfortable or will it only make matters worse. Evaluation the pro vs cons and them make a decision. Only you know what will happen if you choose to get another job. Will the bills pay them self? Are you sure with job market the way it is now. My suggestion is look now and continue until it becomes life threatening or just unbearable.

Yes, you should definately look for another job. There is always going to be someone at every job that is difficult to get along with or you don't like. Hey we are human. However, if you are unhappy with what you are doing or where you are at, then by all means, find another job or another place of employment in the field you are working in. You owe it to yourself to be happy first.
I worked at a job for several months myself that I was absolutely dreading going to each day. The people were absolutely hateful. I looked for another job, was hired and loved the job and so happy to be out of that other place.
