Why doesn’t Apple just stay in the music business?

Seems like they are doing better with music than with computers.

Well, because they're doing so good in the music business they think they can do good in the computer business as well... The Mac - "It just works". I personally hate it.

apple makes products that honestly do work. their programs are top of the line and even though the pc market is way ahead of them its true what they say everything is ready to work out of the box. apple makes alot of its profits from the ipod section and itunes. because everyone u see these days has an ipod. but what really kicked off apple was the colored imac that did appear everywhere. i have had several macs and honestly i have never had any problems what soever with a mac you dont need virus protection you dont have an obosolite computer after 5 months of buying it its a quality investment. there is a joke that people say. how many geniuses are in the world? ... just count the mac sales.

APPLE IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE MUSIC BUSINESS. Apple was named 'Apple' in honor of the Beatles, whose record company is named Apple. Apple Computer was sued for trademark infringement, but a settlement was made in which Apple C. could retain the name if they stayed out of the music industry. Apple Records recently sued Apple C. for violating the settlement with the products of iTunes and the iPod, but lost.

Because they make the finest computer hardware in the world. I have never had a MAC fail. While I'm running mostly Linux now I have two MACS that are at least eight years old running OS 7 and have never had a seconds problem.
