Aah converting in to one of the -shudders- girly girls when you aren't one! I think it's an interesting test, and that it would be fun to try, but that if people /do/ like Plastic Jaclyn more than real Jaclyn, you still shouldn't change into Barbie mode permanently.
Never change yourself completely for other people, because in 30 years, when it really matters, some of those people could just be working shelling peanuts or something. Concentrate on work, because you are in school after all, and even though sometimes it's hard, ignore the rest of the shallow minds out there.

Doing yourself up doesn't change who you are unless you think you are somehow a different person when your hair is straightened and all that. Or maybe you will develop an ego. A lot of people ACT different when they are made up, which is one reason why people treat them differently.
Once you start doing it you'll probably start relying on it though.
I think more people should have your attitude, therefore I don't think you should do it.
At least not yet. :) But you could always try it for fun, which I guess is what you're meaning. Like a make-over type thing?
I think people must be watching too many movies to be trying things like that in real life.

you can try putting a little bit of makeup on but god gave you the hair you have and the looks you have a little mascara and a nice light lip color to bring out you eyes and mouth . would not hurt any one but if you need to make any drastic changes to your appearance . then you will always have to. if you have frizzy hare get a good relaxants for your type of hair. if you are happy in the clothes you are in and you feel good this is you. and you are one of a kind . no one likes a fake and men really hat it they would rather go for a clean natural girl. men only look at these made up girls as a piece of you know what and they know thy are high maintenance. but a few little changes will lift you moral not for any one but you.

looks has something to do with the friends that you have, when you're older it doesn't matter as much, you'll realize, but in Junior high, you will probably see more guys looking at you, and the popular preppy girls associating themselves with you....its horrible, but that's life, at least when you are in school. Be who you want to be, if you want to straighten your hair, and its going to make you feel more beautiful, go for it girl! Love yourself!

Be true to yourself. If those things might be fun for you, do it. But ask yourself this: what if you do it, and no one notices
or what if you do it, everyone raves, but the next day you go back to being you and they taunt you saying--oh you sure looked better yesterday.
If you get up in the morning, look in the mirror and like how you look, stick with it. If you feel you might like a change then do it, but do it for you...no one else.

Do it for yourself. Don't do it for them.
The real you is who you want to be. If you don't want to waste money and time on makeup, then don't. Clean hair is different. Is your hair naturally curly? Why straighten it? G-d might have given you beautiful curls.
Ask your parents this question. Ask your grandmother. These girls might have different cultural standards, which might not be those of your family. Be proud of who you are inside, who is your family. You don't need to change for superficial people.

Go where your heart takes you. Go with the flow. Do what YOU think is right, and just ignore the othere girls that make fun of you. They just think they're better than you. Don't stoop down to thier level and try to compete with them. Do what is best for you.

What is horrible is your English!!! If I were you, I would concentrate on writing and speaking the English language. Clean up your act in the way you come off to people.....and worry about the make-up later.

How about getting a grammar lesson before worrying about any of that. Seriously. That really butchered the English language.
