i think we need to be careful before we get too wild and go too far "saving the children". don't get me wrong, i'm all for doing the things that really would help the children, but....whether a child molester lives within a thousand feet of a school really isn't going to make a difference whether he molests and kids and it don't matter who his neighbor is either if he wants to molest kids, he will.and there should be differences in sexual predators, not just one name for all people who break the law in that area, for example, if an 18 year old guy has sex with his 17 year old girlfriend, he's then labeled a child molester.. that's wrong, even if its consensual, he's labeled that for the rest of his life, the punishment should fit the crime. we have too many politicians that will do anything if they think it makes them look good with no regard for the real consequences it will have on everyone else.i can give many examples of this.

Anything that will find, prosecute, and put child molesters OFF THE STREETS FOREVER is a good law! How many children do we have to lose to sexual predators and pedophiles before America has had enough of our liberal, head-up-hind-end judges who tap them on the wrist and turn them loose to offend again? And should we try to rehabilitate sex offenders? I say yes! The mandatory time in rehab should be life plus one day.
