There are several place that you'll have to check to make sure that the speakers are set properly. The first is: in control panel, sounds. The second is: your sound card software has speaker settings and some have equalizers and sound effects. The third is: If your trying to listen to a Cd or a DVD you'll have to check the volume levels in those software programs to see if they are set correctly. Windows Media Player settings are very important to have them set correctly. If you built this computer, you will have to have amplified speakers. Unamplified speakers won't produce the sound for you. Make sure that the speakers are hooked up to the proper jack on the back of your computer. Usually, it is a green colored jack for the speaker output.
