Have you ever walked up to someone you was feeling maybe at the store or the mall, or anywhere and asked for their number, or a date, or just told them they were cute? And do you do this on a regular basis? I never do, because I am always too afraid. If you do, can you give me some tips on some good decent things to say?

I'm pretty shy so I don't just jump into the "hey wanta date" thing but I have told a girl that I thought she was cute before. On the other hand I don't just hand out my number either so I would have to know or talk to the person for awhile till I did so. But I would think about calling them if they were easy to talk to and had the guts to come up and start talking to me out of nowhere. Try it sometime, things might go better then you think.

I'm gay and I only did it once. I was with some friends at a straight bar (the only kind we have in my town) and I was in the mensroom when a really cute guy came in. He said something or another, I don't remember now, that led me to believe he MIGHT be gay. So after we were both back in the bar, I saw him sitting with his friends and I went over and said hi, and just talked about the band and stuff. Then I asked him if I could buy him a drink, and I did. We talked a little more, and finally he just asked me, "Are you gay or something?" And I said "Yes," and he told me politely that he was not. That was kind of the end of that, and I've never tried it again.

LOL im pretty shy till im wasted... but once I was wasted would be able to go up to anyone and ask them out or back to my place or whatever the case may be... liquid courage LOL..
no real advice for you hear... no days its really hard to know who is or isnt gay and if you make the mistake of asking someone who isnt it can get you killed... I hated the bar scene... but honestly as far as finding a date.. its far safer... at least in a gay bar if you take a chance and ask a guy out and hes not gay hes not likely to try and kill you... even if hes not gay... cause chances are hes either bi or his g/f is..

good luck

I'm bi,and had my own jewelry business. One of my best customers, well,I had a thing for him. One day, once I became single,I walked up to him, handed him my card, told him to call me. Our first date was new year's eve,we've been together ever since
