Hey, i had acne to for quite a while :( it's not fun, but there is way's to manage it, clear it and fix it,
Firstly i wouldn't advise that you use proactive, its a continuous product which mean's you have to keep buying it, and i found it actually aggravated my acne, and didn't do much except leave me a red face,
if you pick at your pimple's or touch them, you are speading infection deaper into the pore,
Do not touch your face or pop or pick, and you wil notice a huge difference also..

FaCiAl CLeANeR's
you can basically buy any facial cleanser, but a little uknown fact is facial cleanser's do not actually remove acne, they clean your skin to help prevent it, with persistent use you will notice a difference,
i advise you find a cleanser toner and some acne face cream, you can get these anywhere to suit any budget.

MeDicATIoN..
you may not want to go on medication. But it worked for me.
I used minnocylin antibiotic's.. it worked for me, but my acne still wasn't all gone,
*So i used diane-35 , its a contraceptive pill, with 2mg estrogen, which is a female hormone, Estrogen block's androgen hormone's ( which are male hormone's.) Too much androgen's are what causes acne,
* Roaccutane, Accutane.. I never used this, but read many page's on the net that praised it, It stop's your gland's in the skin from producing sebum, which therefore stop's the surface of your skin being lubricated with oil's which cause acne, What u need to consider with roaccutane, is if you fall pregnant it will cause serious birth defect's, and it's not advisable to wax your eyebrow's while taking ro-accutane, as it change's the make-up of your skin.

What you can do in the mean time
Drink more water,
Change your pillow case every two night's ( turning it over the other side on the second night)
Do not sleep with your hand supporting your head.
Do not support your head on your hand's at any time, as you are spreading bacteria, Try using a mud mask, it will clear your pore's out.
Drink more water, recommended 8 glasses per day,
Cut back on fizzy drink,
try to avoid wearing make-up if possible, if you do , pick a fuondation that will not block pore's
Also.. you may like to use a herbal supplement,
Drinking Green tea will improve your skin, as it is full of aitoxidants and will clean out your inside's
Best of luck
x3

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Believe it or not, the best thing (and quickes, easiest and cheapest) you can do to get rid of pimples (or acne or any other blemish) is applying urine to your face. It really works and practically everyone who tries it gets amazing results. Just pee in a cup and dab some drops of it on the pimples a couple times a day or so, every day, until they're gone! You can also rub it on your face or other parts of your body to make wrinkles disappear, and to give you a good complexion and super-soft skin (it's the best moisturizer).

Of course you think I'm joking. But no - I'm very serious! People new to this concept ("urine therapy" or "uropathy") usually think it's disgusting and unreal! It might be hard to get used to at first, since we are made to believe that urine is just a waste that our body rejects (therefore they see it as gross and don't want anything to do with it). But urine is very sterile and contains no bacteria or toxins. (In fact, you can even wash your laundry with urine!)

Urine is made up of:
95% water
2.5% urea
2.5% mixture of hormones, salts, minerals, etc.

Urea is the component in urine that is so good for your skin. It works so well that they add urea to facial products and acne products! Also, urine therapy is a secret that many models have, because it makes your skin so attracitve!

So try it and I bet you it'll work! Good luck! ;-)

Steam your face. I've tried everything and have asked many questions on this site. The only thing that I'm really pleased with is the results I'm getting from steaming my face. I steam mine every night. Make sure to cleanse after. I also use a mask on my face after cleansing. My acne has cleared up and my face is about 60% less oily. I started this process a week ago.

You can check the internet for ways to go about steaming your face. All you need is a bowl, boiled water, and a towel.

Wash your face at least 2x per day. Try to eat a low fat diet. Use hydrogen peroxide. Carefully pour it onto a cotton ball (by pouring it on the cotton ball your won't contaminate what's in the bottle) and rub it on. Every 2 or 3 days if often enough. Only use if/when the acne reappears, but not more frequently.
