My best friend had one, and when she had a baby 3 years later she then regretted her decision. She said she realized that she had killed a baby. She knows that she wouldn't have been able to give the baby a good home at that time, but wish she would have opted for adoption. She says that she would be sad to have given a baby up, but it would be better than what she ended up doing. As for the physical part of it, it depends on how far along you are. She had some cramping and bleeding, just as you do after giving birth.

So sorry for your situation. No one should judge how you got there. I think it's resposible of you if you know that you wouldn't be able to provide the kind of life you want for your baby, but I hope you would consider adoption. It would be very hard to do, but an abortion really isn't a quick fix. Good luck.

I had one and remember the date and day it was done and that was 08/09/98. I remember the whole process and some days I think about what my life would be like if I had kept the baby I was 21 at the time and a heavy drinker and indulged in drug use at the time I thought it was the best decision even now I think it probably was but it is always with you
as for the physical effects they weren't bad not for me anyways I had some minor bleeding and cramping nothing worse then a bad period

The good thing about America is that it is your choice and only you can make it and only you will live with it

Almost nobody gets pregnant at the opportune time. I had my first at 17. She was the reason my life is as good as it is. If I wouldnt have had her, I would not have had a reason to straighten my life out. Think before you act. That baby didnt ask to be here but it definately deserves the chance. I have had friends that have had abortions and they have all regretted killing thier baby. Adoption is quite popular these days. Atleast you will be able to see what you are giving up then.

I myself have never had an abortion but my personal thoughts on it are it should not be done. If you do not want your baby there are many other options than killing an Innocent baby that has not even had a chance at life. I hope you make the right decision.

My girlfriend did years ago. She's passionately pro-choice. I think the only emotional bs was dealing with religious zealots at a clinic to which she was referred.

Have the abortion and finish school.

Regret is ubiquitous, it's there if you keep it, it's there if you don't. Don't make the child the target of it...oh, and you will, if you're asking this question, you will.

NEVER HAD ONE, NEVER WILL!!! have you ever heard of the old saying " you made your bed, now lay in it?" well that's what people who spread their legs to have sex should do. i mean, if your going to college, you should be pretty smart then, huh? oh how sweet, the person above remembers the day she killed her baby. look at the name of her avatar. that should tell you.
