What kind of friend are you talking about for one a female or male. But you can tell if a boy is gay if he start acting in feminine ways and she talking funny. And a girl if she draws herself closer and closer to the relationship acting as thought she is the other females boyfriend or something.

Just ask him and tell him you were just curious and that his answer doesn't change your friendship. If he gets mad than i suggest you tell him that you wanted to know because you felt that there should be more personal things to share among you guys. By the way why would you ask him that does he act gay or something?

It's absolutely normal. God needs different people. I'm a girl and I love boys but I wouldn't mind if my best friend had been a gay.

you might hurt their feelings if you just ask them seriously, but when you are alone with this person then it would be a good time or when you are just joking around then ask him and dont act serious and why do you want to know...it shouldnt matter as long as you are still friends with each other!

well i have one that is a lesbian, and another who is gay, now when the female tries to compete for the girl, dead give away and the same if the guy is looking and commenting on guys, or you can just ask them

find out who's in his gym class, and then when they go to the showers, ask someone to drop the soap and see what he does.
or you could just start to notice how he looks at other guys and girls, and if that doesn't work, ask him.
