So when in the next presidential election?

why do people keep talking about all of this prpoganda now that it is election time, dont we still have 2 years?

sorry guys i actually dont vote because to me all politicians are crooks, so i really didnt know.

November 2006 will be elections for all in the House of Representitives and for 33% of the Senate.

The next Presidential election is in 2008, but every two years the entire House of Representatives and 1/3 of Senators are up for election. This year there is a push by Democrats to regain a majority in the House and Senate, and they have a fair chance of doing so. This would allow them to control the national agenda and the budget.

Doubtless their first priority, if successful, will be the impeachment of the President, regardless of its deleterious effects on the nation's economy and security. Even if cooler heads prevail, they will want to put their own stamp on foreign policy, for example forcing troop withdrawals from Iraq by cutting off the funding. Congress can directly override the President's military orders since the window afforded by the War Powers Act has long since passed.

Any way you look at it, this election matters. As the old curse goes, "May you live in interesting times."
