This is a gray area of the law.
If you have an accident & you are tested, it will be ASSUMED you were impaired whether you were or weren't. How could it be proved you were impaired, the wreck could have been a coincidence.

I have never been prescribed or tried percoset, so I do not know how it affects you.

If you have any doubts about impairment, have a friend drive you!

Hi

Everyone is different when it comes to taking medication. I would suggest that you give you body at least a week to adjust to the medication before you try driving and then go short distances and see how you think you are doing. When you first start taking a narcotic it makes you sleepy, dizzy and can affect your coordination these are actually side effects and usually lessen after awhile. If they don't see your doctor and he can change you to a different narcotic which may not effect you as much but still control your pain. I can't take morphine it makes me feel unsteady and light headed. I was switched to another narcotic and after a few days felt fine. For your info.. Most states DUI or OUI laws depending on where your from include drugs that impair driving not just alcohol, you can be arrested so be careful. Hope this helps some.

Yes, any amount of analgesics has the potential to impair your operating any heavy machinery. If you were to get into an accident while on this medication ( no matter how much ) you could be charged with DWI or any of those other ones. Take the medicine as needed for pain, and ask a friend to drive until you know the exact effects it has on you.

That depends on your tolerance level. I would eat half and see what that does for you before attempting to drive. Whatever you do don't drink booze.
