I like the old traditional hymns. The new stuff is too sappy for me.

I prefer mostly traditional hymns but there are some contemporary Christian music that are very good, too.

I like the traditional hymns, but there is some of the new music, but I agree that some of the music is just too over the top and sappy for me.

I enjoy the hymns when I am in church and feeling reverant and contemplative, but when I am at home and just want to be uplifted I LOVE the Contemporary Praise & Worship music....guess it depends on the circumstance and mood I am in. God Bless you!

I definitely prefer the traditional hymns. There's so much more depth and meaning to them. All this new-age touchy feely trash just makes me feel empty inside.

Traditional.
So called "Christian Rock" and "Christian Rap" just aren't very Christian to me.
And I never use the words "rap" and "music" in the same sentence anyway.

I feel that contempo christian covers all genres. Therefore it can reach a broader listening audience and deliver more souls to Jesus Christ. Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond get me moving and it is all for the Lord.
