i weigh 60 kilo's, i am looking to lose about 10 kilo's as i am quite petite, what diets are effective for this, and where do i get the information from?

Atkins is great I did it for almost two years no problem it was a walk in the park the entire time except for the first two weeks, which is because you are ctting back on caffiene and sugar intake. These can be brought back in slowly and in smaller amounts then what what people are used too. There are many sites you can read about it. This isn't really a diet but it works just as good. About 4 years ago I developed a corn allergy. Corn is the devil and is in everything. When you go to the store I challenge you to read labels and find 5 things that don't have High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, Malodextrin, Dextose, Corn Syrup Solids, Xyathum Gum, or Spices on the label. All of these things contain corn. This is why diets don't work! Once you take these products out of your system you are almost gaurenteed to lose weight! I lost close to 20 pounds if not more, within the first couple months. You do need to keep excerising 3x a week if not daily. (Bike ride or even going for a walk.) Take my Challenge!

Most fad diets are just that, fads. They work for awhile and then you gain it all back when you go to eating normal again. The best way to lose is to exercise your elbows and push back from the table, cut out the sugars and salts and greasy stuff and see your doctor. The safest place to find out about weight loss is to go to your doctor and have him or her tell you what you need for your body-type. There are some homeopathic doctors who will help you with vitamin therapy and other special diets, but you should check with the medical regulating boards to make sure they're on the up and up.

Dr. Tarnower was a cardiologist (heart doctor) who had patients who had to lose weight quickly as a matter of life and death, and keep it off. They could lose weight no other way. This diet is NOT a fad diet. The book just overflows with simplicity and common sense. the Scarsdale diet is peerless, in a class by it self. Nothing compares, nothing!

The diet will enable you to easily lose 14 to 20 lbs in 2 weeks. According to the diet one is supposed to stay on it 2 weeks and 2 weeks off alternately. When I was on it i just stayed on it continuously.

The book has been in and out of print. Just find it on Altavista or Google. Good luck dear.

I've never done this, but I understand that mainlining heroin can cause you to lose weight fast. Not sure it's worth it, though. It would be better if you started eating a bit less, exercising a bit more and lose the weight slowly. That way your body can get used to the change.

those diets is only temporary.you won't be able to stick to them religiously,thus,when you get tired of it,u will put on more weight than you have shed.so by doing simple maths,this is not worth.i personally stick to this for two years.eat in small portions!also,eat slowly.this way,you'll feel full in no time.

Do cardio, and eat healthy..you will loose weight. Trust me, I lost 10 pounds and then gained 15 more pounds of muscle weight in just about 8 months. I don't use weights, just push ups, sit ups, pull ups, and running.

dont eat dinner. just eat a healthy snack like every 2 to 3 hours. my cuz lost like 15 pounds by doing that and my aunt did the same. It REALLY works.
