That's a good question I think the school will open but first the board of government and headmistress have to get rid of the vanishing cabinet and make sure that the school is will protected. With Harry gone people will feel less threaten to send their kids to the school. He is the reason why things have been exciting at the school and deadly.

I don't think we will see Hogwarts very much in book 7. She ended book 6 with Harry saying he would not come back to Hogwarts for his final year because he was going to go after Voldemort. I think the book will open with the wedding of Ron's brother.

well, it might, but i'm not so sure. since teh attack of the death eaters and them taking over hogwarts at the end of book 6, if howarts re-opened, i highly doubt any of the parents would send their kids there. especially after kids were being threatened to be pulled out in book three with the rumors of sirius black. the attack showed that hogwarts wasn't as safe and protected as everyone thought it was. so basically, what would be the point? there's always the chance it will, but i don't thikn so. especially since harry said in the 6th bok that even if hogwarts remained open, he wasn't going back.

I think so, but I think that in the beginning of the book it will be closed... something is going to happen early on so that the parents feel better about letting their children attend. I also think Harry is going to finish there, but is going to look for the Horcruxes even while he is at school. IS Harry a Horcrux?? Maybe THAT will be revealed too.

Can't WAIT for Book 7!

Yeah, but i don't think harry will go back. Hagrid and some of the other teachers said as long as one student remains they will open. I think Ginny, Luna and Neville at least will go back, and maybe some more DA members so harry can find them, i think there will be a show down with the DA and the death eaters, so they would kinda have to be in the same place to contact them quick.

In book seven, Harry will go back to the Dursleys until he is seventeen and then he will go searching for the Horcruxes, and Ron and Hermoine will be with him everywhere he goes. They will also attend bill and fleur's wedding.
and Yes, Hogwarts will be open

Yes it will. Dumbledore woukld have wanted it left open even if only one student came to attend, even if he is not there. The school still possesses magical protection and I think that Professor McGonagal is going to step up to be a great Headmistress. We already know that she isnt as tough as her thick exterior.

I think so, and I think that it will be a scene for one of the battles that is going to happen. Whether Harry is a student there or not, I do not know.

Harry isn't going back so there should not be any reason for hogwart's.

I think it's not only going to open but also be the site of a big battle with Voldermort. I also do not believe Dumbledore is dead...
