I have lived alone for the first time since my husband died eight years ago. I have found many activities that are quite pleasurable for me. As long as I was physically able, I fished nearly every day. Now I read, surf the net, crochet, sew, make quilts, bake for my grandkids, and watch documentaries on TV. Also I have been writing a book on the story of my very unique life, not for publication but for my grandchildren.

Writing, Drawing, Watching TV, Thinking, Talking to Myself... pretty much everything I enjoy living a fairly solitary life.

This may seem crazy, or cheesy, but I enjoy laying down on a comy sofa and writing down ideas for stories or poems. Also, I like to read steamy, erotic novels...I definitely read those while alone :)
