Within the next two centuries, humanity will annihilate itself. There are now more than 6 billion people on tiny planet earth, far too many for the planet to sustain its inhabitants. The population problem is only going to get worse and our collective standard of living will surely decrease proportionally. As tensions build and competition for energy reaches a fever pitch, war on the scale we've not seen in human history is inevitable.
But what of the world? The world will be here billions of years after the human race is extinct. A small cinder of what it once was, Earth will serve as a galactic symbol for what could have been.
Have a nice day! :)

According to the ancient Mayans and the Hopi, 2012 will be an end to the world as we know it. Now they may not mean armagedden or the rapture. They may just mean a change in consciousness.
I don't think anyone really knows for sure, but at the moment it sure can be a scary place.
However you're not a world government so as individuals we probably won't have much of a say about what happens or when it happens.

It is impossible to divorce the world's end without inserting religious overtone. I mean even if humans self destruct planet Earth, what is on the other side of that moment when we cease to exist? Just as much as we beacon the question where do we come from. Do the molecules re-evolve upon self destruction starting the cycle over again? Or on the flip side, do we go to heaven to be with God? Either perception requires belief because hardly any empirical evidence exist for either. Both sets of ideology makes sense within their own interpretive restraints.

Our world as we now know it could end after we colonize another planet and build a superior civilization there on that new planet.
We would have to in order to live on another planet. After so many generations and a population explosion on that new planet. We would feel less and less dependent on the earth and more and more independent thoughtful of our needs on the new planet over the will of our mother countries on earth.
Then the s h i t would hit the fan. Just as it happened between Britain and America. Hence fulfilling the prophecy of the war of the worlds. And assuming that earth will lose - the end of our world as we now know it.

the mayans never reported the worldwide grew to become into going to end in 2012. their calendar in basic terms ends at that factor. so this could recommend numerous issues...maybe this did think of it may end then. or maybe they never finished their calendar. the base line: we've not any thought. (can we ever? :D) revelations, and the Bible, regardless of if, i've got self assurance. prophecies are coming genuine precise till now our eyes, it is in basic terms that some human beings do not desire to understand, or do not care, or don't think. Bible prophecy got here genuine while israel grew to become into recognized as a rustic returned in 1948. yet another prophecy states that israel would be attacked by ability of a rustic from the north. even inspite of the incontrovertible fact that many have self assurance this could be russia, the iranian president continually lashes out at israel, pointing out they're on a "specific slope to interrupt down"...HMMM? some issues in basic terms can not be accident we are slowly moving in the direction of a extra globalized solidarity, and one worldwide government: yet another bible prophecy in the making. we ought to write the bible off as unreliable, yet even the main radical nonbelievers are beginning to question what is going on. turn on the information, you will see it everywhere the important distinction to revelations and the mayans is time. revelations states that no person will understand the day or hour that the rapture starts, for this reason i don't think of it will be 2012. you never understand inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, in basic terms bypass with the bypass and regardless of happens, happens!

What will begin as political conquest overshadowed and obscured by war and rumors thereof and the desire to be free shall quickly turn into bloody massacres sanctioned by corruptible agencies and officials essentially trying to save their own reputations.
As ignorance of the facts and personal agenda takes precedence over humanity powerful individuals will take the opportunity to impose threats upon lesser beings in the absence of authority. Little by little alliances will be broken and out of desperation and bloodlust new false alliances will be formed between former enemies.
In the wake of the tragedies great societies shall compromise their morals and long standing principals to ensure safety and clean conscious for the crimes they anticipate committing.
In the final years many men will come to claim their divinity and many more will attempt to accredit their hedonistic activity and bloodthirsty agenda to piety in the name of the LORD. All things great and small will use religion as a front for their actions and their arrogance will grow as they come to realize how simple it is to manipulate the masses by claiming their actions to be 'in the name of God.' As our technology surpasses our humanity it will become more clear what the true mark of the beast shall be and those that either refuse or are unable to afford this mark will be unrecognizable by the logs that track us. They will therefore be incapable of functioning or thriving in our economy or society.
In the end our means of survival will be our ruination as we come to depend on the machinery we cannot control and we run dry all the sources of energy and fuel needed to operate them. Slowly but surely we will die off lacking the survival skills needed to re-establish our vast societies and knowing only effective means of destruction and hatred for our brethren we will kill each other off in a vain and fervent attempt to establish dominance.
