Try ice cream, nice and thick.

Next go to the doctor, get Prev-Pac. It is expensive, but worth it. Cleared my problems right up.

I understand that it is now known that ulcers are caused by bacteria and you may need to be taking an antibiotic. See your doctor. Put a heat pad on your stomach until you get in to see the doctor. Eat buttered toast with sugar and a little cinnamon on it, and hot milk poured over the buttered toast. Soft food like that will be easy to digest.

I would eat only plain food until the inflamation dies down. Plain
to me would be Italian Bread-vienna, boiled chicken , bananas
To me anythng that was not spicy, or hot or fatty or fried would be
plain. I do not have ulcers but I do have a hiatal hernia, I love to
eat a variety of foods but sometimes I have to eat very plain. I
then boil a whole chicken or parts as if I was making soup , then
I would eat it plain like that until the burning or pain went away.

I found very starchy foods - bread, biscuits, potatoes, noodles and rice - to be very helpful. Avoid anything acidic like oranges or tomatoes or anything spicy. Really any vegetables (other than potatoes or mashed cauliflower) were pretty hard to take. I also found that keeping something on my stomach at all times helped as well. The more empty my stomach was, the worse it hurt.

I hope you feel better soon.

White meat chicken and/or turkey should work well on white bread (sandwich). If you are taking your meds, you should be able to eat more than these bland foods.
