Learn what meals to fix that will cut down on his high glycemic carbohydrates. My husband's snoring was helped by taking him off of wheat (all forms), rye, barley and oats - because he was found to be gluten intolerant.

I have read that snoring and hard breathing (possibly sleep apnea) is related to weight, too.

Check out www.hufa.org, the symptoms link, and check out overweight to see some ideas on what to do.

u can't do anything. it is he who has to do something. being overweight in the young age is bad for health. take him to a jim or get him some exercise materials so that he can exercise at home whenever he has time. make it a habit to take him for long walks instead of watching t.v. at home. both of u can go for jogging together in the morning. if he doesn' like to go for himself tell him that u need to lose weight & ask him to help u out.this usually works if he also loves u. divide the chores at home & ask him to do moving around& bending jobs so that he will be exercising without his knowledge. when u go out for food be a health freek & select only healthy food. involve yourself in his weight reduction programme.his snoring also will reduce once he reduces his weight. good luck.

i know talking about some ones weight can be hard to talk about but think of it like this if you don't say anything then nothing will be done.
get him to go for night walks and make him the food or this will work ! dance sexy with him im sure he will join in and if it leads to sex ....... hey that's a work out :)
enjoy and good luck

Don't DEMAND that he does anything, but encourage him to diet and exercise, or join a gym with a personal trainer to set up a program specifically for him. Above all else stand beside the one you love.
