I kinda feel bad that my ex husband is so bummed out now that his girlfriend broke up with him. I asked him why he didn't cry over me like that when we had gotten our divorce. He had no answer. So is it normal to feel bad for him?

Yes, it means you've gotten over the fact that you two have broken up and you're not bitter about it.

It is not common, it isn't cheating, nevertheless it was once really not a excellent suggestion to fulfill the ex. Should you'd just advised your pal about how you felt and your spouse determined it, it would simplest be hurtful. Having met your ex, now she'll be damage and concerned about whether or not she will be able to believe you to not cheat. Which may take some time to restore. Folks above are correct that it is usual to have some affection for an historic pal, in case your break-up was once civil, but I suppose you are speakme about romantic emotions for an ex, and people quite often go away. It is why they're exes, ordinarily.

Well ofcourse you feel bad when someone close to you is feeling bad. Just because you guys didnt work out doesnt mean you dont care for eachother. He maybe didnt answer your question because he was embarassed. How do you know he didnt cry over you like that? Does the ex know he is crying over her??

It's normal to still feel sorry for an ex. You spent some time with that person and they're more or less still like a family member to you.

I know this one. Though you might not be 'in love' with him after what he did, you still love him to a point of caring about him. Just like if someone wanted a divorce and were worried about the other person. You still have emotions for the other even if you aren't together. It's part of being a person, and the fickleness of our emotions. :)

It is very normal. This is a man you once loved enough to marry. I think it is wonderful that you have such compassion for his feelings and situation. Lucky him for having such a wonderful ex wife and friend. You could be an example for women everywhere!

Feeling sad for someone in pain is normal. Probably because we've all been there.
