okay, i was on my computer (typing) when someone who wasn't currently on my buddy list imed me...i know they werent currently on my buddy list because it was the grey box that popped up, not a normal im box...and i didn't even see the screen name. how can i found out who just imed me? they're not on my recent buddies, and i don't know what to do! please help!!!

if dont want them to do this again then check the spam box when they come back and wont be able to contact you again.with all the virus going around through IM's you might want to think about doing this.

Unfortunately, aim does not have any built in functions to accomplish what you are looking for. Once you closed that window it is forever gone. You have to hope they im you back. In the future though, there is a program called "deadaim" which keeps logs of all your convos, when people signed on, when people im you, etc. You can find it here: http://www.jdennis.net/
