why can't I get any video to play on my PC. all I get is a blank box?

in clicking (play vidio) when serfing the web all I get is a blank box. it wasn't always this way. I must have wiped something out of my system.

you might need to update your adobe or active x software

try installing a latest version of IE on your PC. If that doesn't help then you may want to reinstall DirectX drivers too.

check ur video card if its not the right one that's all u get
the video card might not support the video program u have or the video program might not be compatible
