i had homophobic attidtudes way back in the day when i first discovered that i was queer nyself ... it was hard to accept, but i deserved it for the f*cked up attitudes that i had ... although to be more gentle on myself, i really couldn't help the attitudes i absorbed from society and my parents
it took me almost 20 years to work through my homophobia and really truly come to wholeheratedly accept myself and everything about me ... in the process i also grew into total acceptance, tolerance and love for my fellow human beings ... it was a great lesson and in the end, i am thankful for that lesson ... after all, isn't that what we're here for
and to all those who hate - be careful, you may wake up one day and find out that YOU are the person you've been hating all along ... (ouch, it's a painful lesson)

In what form are you implying disgust. I am not disgusted with anything I do. I am completely content with myself and my God. You asking this question here in this community seems to imply a certain level of disgust with us on some level and by your own admission you are expecting negative comments to your question. But by the responses so far it seems that your amusement at our expense has been thwarted.
