yes! but only a surgeon can tell you if you are or aren't qualified. when i went in for lasik i learned that i have thin corneas, which makes lasik a bad idea for me. they did prk instead, and i am really glad i got that instead of lasik. thin corneas is one of several reasons that you may not qualify for lasik. CONSULT WITH A HIGHLY QUALIFIED SURGEON!! A good one should provide a free, no obligation consultation.

"it sort of feels like I'm desiring new glasses each and every 6 months, now, frequently even much less. " That instantly places you out of the reckoning as a well Lasik candidate. A steady Rx over a historical past of no less than 2 years is endorsed. What factor re-atmosphere your Rx to 0 if it'll instantly do what it is been doing: head quick-sighted? Apart from that, at the same time larger than ninety four% of folks are blissful to very blissful after surgical procedure (even supposing a few have a few measure of facet end result) it isn't a trustworthy method. See underneath for the FDA web page, and a pattern consent style. (now not a unique train, only a web page discovered online as a handy instance ).

I haven't experienced it first hand but one of family members has. there are some qualifications for this surgery but im not exactly sure what they are. FYI when getting it at a young age there will be a touch up surgery involved later on in ur life time b/c it wears away. also a problem that my family member encountered was that she was unable to drive or read at night for awhile but it began slowly to come back to her......its been a year or so now and she still isn't able to see 100% as she was able to before.
