It has brand new tires. Wheels are a bit misaligned. The brake rotors and shoes were serviced and replaced a couple of weeks ago.

your tires are out of balance, That is the ONLY reason your steering wheel would vibarate when you are driving around the speed you gave. Alignment would not have anything to do with this, misalignment would be seen when the tires are wearing abnormally.

Get Someone to look at it...it could be a number of things..but I'll give you the most important..

First check to see if you tires might have a ballon looking thing on it...most call it a tire tittie.

Next. try going to get the front end realigned

bad ball joints.......loose tierods....the rotors could be warped....the bearings in the wheel could be loose..

now these things arn't very expensive....so have someone have a look see.

could be a couple of things tires out of balance you could have lost a wheel weight which is more common and probably your problem front end out of line or your rims could be bent but i would go with tires out of balance it is very easy to throw a wheel weight off

Ball joint is the problem. I had that earlier when I was fixing my car. Does the back swing too? Thats probably the control rod. But on an Eclipse the car gets touchy when you hit bumps.

But yes, I almost guarentee it's the ball joint. :)

when did this problem start
if it started after the work performed then it is probably something to do with that
and i have sold over 100,000 tires by now and beleive it or not it is quite possible you have a defective tire....yes it happens but not very often
just because something is new does not mean it is perfect

Definitely get an alignment, they didnt do a good job when they put the new tires on.

You may have a bad ball joint or lower control arm

you need an alignment.
and if you put the tires on yourself, maybe a balance.
