NO DOUBTS ABOUT THIS ONE -------
he's the Greatest of all - MR. SUNIL GAVASKAR...
Bcoz, in the time he played, there were no helmets like now. And still he managed to score 13 centuries only against the West Indians, who had gr8 bowlers like Roberts, Holding, Garner, Croft, Marshall to name a few.... and that too in their home grounds where the pitches bounced like hell..
Another great thing in his career was that he never got hit by any fast bowler of his era inspite of such deadly bowlers then, makes Sunil Gavaskar the greatest batsmen for me of all times.

I don't think that dravid is greatest, he is just a good player but it needs a lot to be great and no one else but Sachin can be considered in this category, even his presence in team can make a difference, boost energy level.
opposition teams make separate strategies to handle sachin. ppl compare him with great sir bradman. so there is no question and voting is required for this question coz we all know who is the best...
