Are you serious.....hell you're always welcome here. First off loosen the belt a notch, when that is done this will be tonight's ethnic menu made up especially for you my friend. First off check out some of the recipes on http://www.coalregion.com.
Halupkies, pierogies, city chicken, halushkie, bleenies, all terrific tasting and guaranteed to raise your cholesterol level, but very much worth it. We could go to a local block party run by one of the volunteer fire companies or catholic churches, enjoy some polka music and enjoy great food and fun. My favorite dessert would be Pennsylvania Dutch in origin, and that is wet bottom shoo-fly pie...you will want seconds for sure. Tomorrow for lunch we must get you a Philly cheese steak sandwich.

We had chicken parmigana (or a variation thereof). Mix parmesan cheese and Italian seasoned breadcrumbs. Dip boneless, skinless chicken breasts in this mixture, then into beaten egg, then back into the crumb/cheese mixture. Fry until golden brown on both sides in olive oil. Place thinly sliced tomatoes on top of the chicken and place in oven for 5 minutes. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of chicken and tomatoes, and put in oven for 5 minutes longer.

Served with spaghetti. Sautee a boat load of minced garlic in a bit of olive oil and butter until slightly brown, but not burnt. Toss in fresh basil and a pinch of oregano and toss with your cooked spaghetti.

Finished with a cucumber, tomato and onion salad. Voila!

Actually, it was too d@mn hot to cook tonight, so we ordered pizza. I DID make this last night though. Does this still count?? :)

You're just in time. I'm eating right now. I have a styro plate with sliced cucumbers, wedges of garden fresh tomatoes, half a red bell pepper, a bit of ranch dressing on the side and a slice of garlic bologna. If you think I'm cooking in this 100' heat, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE!

Well since it is Oregon.....do they eat organs? Chittlins and gravy sounds good in that case. Or what about Liver and onions? Sauted cow brains? Well those are you choices......hope at least one satisfies your Oregon cravings. :)

I had a zero calorie, zero fat, zero cholesterol beaver dinner. Strange thing, after eating for an hour my stomach is still growling.
