attracted to any food source. and the little blighters can get in the smallest of cracks!
Have you worked out where they are coming from yet? Mine had the ability to come up under the house, through the odd floorboard, wall or two and eat the chocolate within the wall cupboard - once they'd chewed through the carrier it was in, and the cardboard containing the dark chocolate, and plastic containing the marsh mallows! I couldn't forgive them for helping themselves to my late night munchies so lifted the floor boards put a nice big bowl of poison down and haven't had one since.......... TOUCH WOOD
you will notice loads of droppings where they eat and also where they come in......
Hope this helps

The mice want food. Make sure your house is very clean so that they don't forage in it. Bait traps with fruit not cheese. Cheese is a legend (and good copy for cartoons). Alternatively boiled sweets - mice have sweet teeth! They are very agile and can climb almost vertically and get through holes less than a quarter of the size you think. This might explain why you are perplexed as to where they come from, especially if you live in a big city block with wooden floors. Also, Jerry might be a clever mouse but he is actually terrified of Tom.

Mice are after about the same things humans are after. Food and a warm place to raise their young. Don't give them access to food (unless it's on a trap) and close ALL openings into the house. They can fit through a very small opening. Once you get the holes closed, trap will work to get rid of them.

Peanut butter is a very effective bait. Use it with simple spring traps or with sticky traps. If you have quite a few mice it will take a number of traps and a few weeks of earnest effort to get rid of them. I'd also use some Decon (poison) along with the baited traps to help make sure you get rid of all of them.

Mice traps and use peanut butter on a cracker then place it on the mouse trap. also there are these sticky pads that you can buy which will hold the mouse to the pad and not kill it. Good luck if worst comes to worst go to an exterminator or buy a cat.

Don't leave any food or crumbs around, the little buggers can smell it a mile off, look for greasy dark marks near small holes, thats where they'll be getting in and put some poisoned grain there for them, it's a shame they're so cute

It may be that you live in an area that has an unusually high population or just need to do some major house cleaning. If by the evidence of droppings or destruction you can tell where they like to visit it is possible to trap and remove, or destroy and remove, which is of course more desirable to eliminate any future visitation.

if you live in an old house the mice were there before you. make sure all food is in mouse-proof containers. get 2 cats - they'll hunt together and kill quicker rather than play with live mice. be prepared for mouse corpses and be properly grateful to the cats.

they are coming in for food. try and find out where so u can block the hole. check under your sink for holes. eliminate the food source. they have hav- a-hart traps which catch them so u can take them down the street to the woods somewhere instead of killing them. u set one when u go to bed & check immediately the next morning. dont forget about them though because they will suffocate if left there too long. make sure theyre closed when not in use.

You can a machine that makes a high frequency sound that they hate, or get some rat poison and disguise it with peanut butter.
