I was going to subscribe to Napster to download songs, but I think $10 a month is a little pricey. Do you know of a different program that is LEGAL and not pay-per-song and CHEAPER?

Thx

And I do NOT want to use a FREE program...I am paranoid about using the illegal programs. I heard that Limewire is being sued by Sony and other companies for lots of money and now these companies are going after some of the people who use Limewire.

it truly is technically unlawful, convinced. basically any document sharing software that you take advantage of to receive copyrighted cloth without the proprietors consent is against the law. i'm an lawyer and that i heavily doubt it really is going to ever come to the youngsters like your being sued or prosecuted for what they are doing. Napster changed into storing a plethora they of copyright songs, compared to limewire. yet there are one of those vast quantity of incredibly loose downloadable web content that i could use this as a researching opprotunity on your little ones. coach them to do what's morally surprising. contained in the log run our youngsters bear in mind what we coach them. If we enable them to sneak right into a movie theatre for 2 video clips and in easy words pay for one, we do not unavoidably create destiny criminals, yet we instil morals which will with slightly of success rememebr quicker or later as adults even as confronted with a better extreme difficulty

There is a program and it is called Bearshare, It is a LEGAL music download site, how it works is that people upload music to share with others. There is a free version . They have Bearshare pro, but that is yearly premium site. You have to download the program then you can download music from it.

No. Peer to peer programs (like Kazaa, Ares or Mp3 rocket) are cheaper or even free but aren't entirely legal.
