they dont really need alot of floor space but they really do need the height. so a medium cage will be fine just as long as it is a tall cage.

Minimum cage size for sugar gliders is 36 X 24 X 36 inches. Keeping your glider in anything less would be cruel. They like to jump and glide. What are the dimensions on your 'medium' sized cage?

Yes, my sister had two sugargliders living comfortably in a med-large bird cage. It was 2 layers high, though. It should probably be a bigger sized medium, not a smaller sized medium, though.

Be careful, cuz they have really foul smelling urine and they throw their food everywhere. Our house always stunk and she cleaned their cage 2 times a week.

they do glide, so maybe a sorta large cage
