I found a dead bird (Robin) outside my house. Am I suppose to call it in to somoene? I live in Arkansas if that helps anything. Thanks.

I'm talking about for west nile or bird flu reasons when I ask if I report it.

It depends on how you think it died, if it flew into the window then put it in the garbage can. If it just died and fell out of a tree then it may have a disease like West Nile, or Bird Flu. In that case call you local animal control center or if you want to take care of it then you have to burn it so it the disease will be contained.

Where I live we are supposed to call the county department of health. I am up to 4 dead birds this year already.

well here in illinois ur supposed to call ur police stations non emergency numeber because of the west nile virus

was it below a window or a wall? if so it may have flew into it and broke its neck.
if it just fell out of a tree then there may be a serious problem and any good citizen would call it in

Ummm... don't touch it you never no if it might have a disease i think you should call someone just to be safe you can never be to safe !!!! I'm not going to tell you to go pick it up with ur hands or anything because i don't want you to get a disease or something ! :)

If you have kids and they saw it your going to have to bury it. That is illegal but the worst you would get is a small fine. If it is just you throw it out.
