Real silver is heavier, but stainless steel works great. If it is damaged, just replace it at K-Mart.
If you actually stick a knife or fork in the badger, silver will stain. I recommend stainless steel-easier to clean.

I would go with the cheap, flea market stuff.

You will lose a slight amount of accuracy, but the savings in price, therefore allowing you the ability to throw more spoons (and increase your chances of a direct spooning) more than makes up for it.

Hope this helps and if the infestation is too overwhelming call an Ohio State Buckeye to take care of 'em!!!

I've only seen a badger like twice in my whole life and I ran every time they are mean mean.
As for spoon tossing I like the twang sound of a silver spoon when it hits something.
And silver spoons are better for playing spoons(hand bone) also.

Wooooooow is that a twister, lol. It hurts, might burst a bubble or some. I would say at every chance i get, i throw a spoon! Silver would throw better, although most of mine is would! All i have is stainless. lol

Why throw spoons at badgers? What did they do to you? Leave the wildlife alone!

My answer is NO, I do not throw anything at an animal unless I want to EAT it.

What's up with that? You just bored?

I prefer to toss forks at them and I find that real silver is much better because it is much heavier and the fork sticks into the badger like a dagger.
