The best way to get out marker is with cheap hair spray. You need to spray the area and dab it with a cloth rubbing very lightly. You will have to do this several times. You also need to be quick to do this while the hair spray is still damp.Try not to rub very hard because you do not want to penetrate the stain deeper or smear it very much.after the stain is gone then you can wipe the area with a damp cloth to remove the hairspray.
good luck

They do make a leather cleaning kit. You can pick one up at any leather store or hobby store. If that doesn't work, get the leather repair kit and match up the color to your couch and put it over the marker. It is a liquid that you just paste on and smooth out over it. I use to work at Wilsons Leather. Try the cleaning kit firts.
