who is better KG or tim duncan?

Tim Duncan because he has a better mentality as a player he can kiss the ball off the glass or he can back down and fade away or dunk.he also has a better face up game. Tim duncan has a better ability to block shots and play defense. kg does have a better overall scoring ability

I think as far as physical skill and athleticism, KG might have a slight edge. However, Duncan has much more poise and leadership, and has the ever-important ability to make his teammates around him better. Duncan also has the edge in pure fundamentals.

The bottom line is that while they are VERY similar as far as physical talent goes, the results speak for themselves. Duncan has three championships where Garnett has none because of his personality and his ability to lead effectively. Duncan has all the intangibles that Garnett does not, which is why their legacies will be very different in the history books.

As much as I hate the Spurs, I would have to say the Big Fundamental Tim Duncan is the man. I really admired his game when he was playing college ball in the ACC. I hoped the Lakers could of picked him up in the draft that year. Now a few championship rings later, Duncan is playing as well as advertised.

well its an interesting question but to me it would be kg he is more active down the paint and leads his team duncan on the other hand is overratted and he has those rings because he has a great team with him and has an easier job to do i mean come on tony parker and ginobly what could be a better combination and to top it off their bench is astounding
