i drive for a plumbing company hauling toilets and some piping.not to much weight .

anything over 10,100 lbs requires a Class C CDL

John R is correct (in California) but not all states are the same. Some have special restrictions.
Recommend that you either call your local police or Highway patrol, or call your local Department of Motor Vehicles and be sure.
The LAST thing you want to do is to be caught out of classification, and tell the officer "....well I was told on Yahoo...."!
