I've heard of twin turbochargers, but have never heard of a car or vehicle with both a tubrocharger and a supercharger.
Can this be done?

If this can be done, or has been done, how?
Does anyone know of a link to an example that I can see here on the internet?

you can have twin turbos because they go in to the exhaust you can not have a turbo and supercharger both it wont work if you want to spend the money go with the supercharger you will get more power try both and you will be putting an engine in it when youi blow it up

The car has to have a large enough engine bay, and I"m sure other requirements but yes it can be done. For example the Ford GT already has a 5.4 liter engine with a supercharger, and then you can get it tuned by Hennessy Performance who adds twin turbos and makes it 850 horses! WOW! I wish it was possible for my Mustang, but I haven't heard of anyone pulling it off yet.

Just doesn't work, turbo chargers supply 25 pounds of boost and superchargers supply around 15 pounds of boost. You can't daisy chain them. Turbo is the best way to go for power, super is the best way to go for durability. It's like putting one fan in front of another....the volume of air doesn't change much at all, it will always be almost exactly what the largest fan puts out. Good luck.

Such engines exist, but are very rare. HKS made a kit to put this on an early Toyota MR2. And VW is planning to build a new engine set up this way. This link leads to a collection of galleries showing pictures of MR2's with this mod - sorry, I haven't found any perfectly clear pictures of this setup.
