I recently received an assignment to write an essay on a topic of my choosing. Although there are a great number of subjects and topics, with which I am familiar that I could write about, I want to take this opportunity to learn and write about the even greater number of subjects and topics that I do not know about. However, since there are so many to choose from I am having a hard time deciding and the deadline for my essay is growing every closer and closer and closer. I was hoping that by posting this question that you might be able to provide me with a good and interesting topic.

If you have a lot of time for this assignment, it is fine to explore new subjects, but if you have a short time to turn the essay in, I will recommend to write about a topic that you are familiar with. If you want to choose a different topic, try to choose a topic that relates to one of the careers you are considering for the future.

Write an essay about "The indecision of writing an essay." As long as you don't have to have resources, you should be able to pull it off. Choose three reasons you are having such a difficult time choosing a topic, then add an intro and conclusion, then you have a typical 5 paragraph essay. you will be all set.

First, you should choose what kind of essay, before you choose the content of it.
For example, do you want to just elaborate on one topic? Like, What Underage Smoking/Drinking is actually doing to our children? This would be an expository paper.
Do you want tell about what you have experienced? Like, My Visit to New Orleans After Hurricane Katrina. This would be a narrative paper.
Do you want to do a paper comparing and contrasting two different topics? Like, Evolution Vs. Creationism? This is also expository.
Or do you want to convince someone to your way of thinking? Like, Why Americans Should Exercise More. This would be a persuasive paper.
After choosing what kind of paper you want to do, Choosing the topic for your paper should be easier. Feel free to choose either sample topic I have displayed above. Good Luck.

U should pick the topic that you can find really easy to you.Like something that u have been working on for a long time.Like a topic that you have already written on in another essay!

Pick something you don't agree with, and completely dislike. Write the essay as if it was the most important thing in the world to you and that you agreed with it totally.
