My till hasnt been coming out right and I'm thinking of finding another job. I'm not too happy about my hours either. I worked 3 6-8 hour shifts in the past 3 days. I'm 16 years old and I don't want a huge job and theres just too much to the job right now for me and its my first job. I currently work at a grocery store and I'm thinking of working at a drug store. Is this a good switch?

If your cash isn't balancing, it's your own fault. You should look for a job with less cash handling. Maybe you could be a customer service agent, work at a call center, or work at a daycare center. In the summer you could definitely work full-time (and save lots of the money) but during the school year I suggest working two four-hour shifts, or a four-hour shift and an eight-hour shift. Don't put work before your classes!

In the meantime, work really hard at school to improve your math skills. Numeracy is an important skill and you'll need it later in life.

Sounds like someone at work is getting in your register. Maybe you should try another job where you will only be on the cash register a little each day. This way you will get the cash register experience but you won't have to learn so much too fast.

baby girl your still young if you wanna switch jobs do it. don't let no one keep you from doing what you do best. if you don't know what you do best explore. when you do find a job you like doing stick with it. it's not so good to be job hopping around. know what i mean. i work in a deli i love it. it beats flipping burgers for me. lol...
